●節慶由來
端午節因時值酷暑，正是疾病開始滋生的季節，因此端午節的成因，可追溯為驅邪避厄之目的，以求身心的平安，後來又加入愛國詩人屈原的歷史故事，讓端午節更增添了傳奇性。●Origin
Since summer is a time when diseases most easily spread. The Dragon Boat Festival began as an occasion for dispelling the evil and pestilence, promoting good health and seeking peace in one's life. The festival was later enriched by the legend of patriotic poet Chu Yuan who drowned himself in the Milo River on the same day. As people were busy retrieving his body from the water, the incident finally became the custom of dragon boat races.

●活動內容
端午節最為人熟悉的食物就是粽子，這個原本富有紀念意義的食物，在中華的巧手製作下，目前已成為隨時都能品嚐的美食了。在當天，許多驅邪避厄的形式不勝枚舉，例如住家門口插著菖蒲和艾草，或是懸掛鍾馗的畫像、成人飲雄黃酒、小孩配掛香包等，都有避邪、保平安的作用。而台灣的「打午時水」的習俗，亦即汲邢矰悀中？漱咫禲A據說也有治病的療效。此外，若能在正午時刻，將雞蛋直立起來而不會倒，則表示來年會行大運。
